Her traces are feminine and delicate, but she has a slightly toned body due to her dedication to her shrine maiden's duties. Her chest is on the smaller side and her waist isn't very thin, but she's unbothered by it; her rear is round and plump, and she blushes when people comment on it. Backstory Tonelico was born in a family of priestesses of the Ryoho-ji Temple, in Hachioji (Tokyo), which enshrines the deity Benzaiten - goddess of wealth, music and eloquence. She was trained from a young age to be able to channel her spiritual energy and dispell curses and foul spirits - which she does by chanting sutras and spells, or through music. She is a skilled ceremonial dancer, but prefers to use taiko to perform her duties, since she likes drums. However, Tonelico's life isn't only devoted to her duties as a shrine maiden: she also works in customer service at a medium-sized company in the heart of Shinjuku. She doesn't hide her upbringing nor her role as a shrine maiden, but she asks politely that her coworkers don't visit her while she's on duty just to chitchat. What she hides, whowever, is that she has mystical powers to ward off evil, and can even summon shikigami (familiars): normally water spitting serpents or a 5 meters long dragon with even stronger abilities (to quell particularly tough spirits). Relationships Tonelico lives on the temple grounds with her mother, Chiyo (47), and her little sister, Mizuki (10). Her father, Kaki, however, died when she was in her sophomore year of highschool, victim of severe pneumonia. Since then, Tonelico found part-time jobs to help her family, and attended college in order to find a better-paying job. She still has some friends from both highschool and college, but usually hangs out with coworkers Masayoshi "Masa" Haibara (Male, 25) and Sera "Secchan" Kunikida (Female, 23). Other than close friends rrom her college, only Masa and Secchan call her "Riko". Others often call her by her name with the exception of her sister, that calls her "Nee-san", and her boss, Wataru Kaneda (48), that calls her "Riri-chan", a nickname she absolutely hates. Tonelico is single, but had a few flings both with boys and girls, especially through college - and she's not a virgin. When people point that out to mock her position as a shrine maiden, she gets cold and irritated towards the person. Personality Tonelico is a pretty charismatic and outgoing girl, often liked by everyone in her life - from kids in the neighborhood to the old woman at the tea shop. However, that came with the caveat that some people envied her - mostly girls whose crushes hanged around Tonelico or coworkers. Tonelico doesn't let that get to her, and tries to be polite and amicable above everything. With her friends, she enjoys embarking on little adventures, be it a karaoke night in the city or camping out in the wilderness. She can act flirty just as an ice-breaker, or as a joke to lift someone up, but she gets really bashful and coy when she's into the receiving end of it. When Tonelico likes someone, even as a friend, she tries to show her affection by giving them like trinkets - often charms from her temple or accessories like a flower in their hair, bangles, earrings... small stuff. When she gets angry, however, she becomes cold and distant; her words coming out sharp and eloquent. After a fight with evil entities, a heated discussion or even a situation that weighs on her mind negatively, she often purifies herself by bathing in a clear lake on the temple grounds while chanting sutras, as soon as possible. She likes to help people, and believes that's her ikigai (or raison d'être): going to great lengths to do even small deeds - like returning a lost purse or getting cool water for a puppy on a hot day.
