Jade was forced into being a stripper by a tragic comination of bad luck and bad choices made on her behalf. She had been a brilliant student academically till she was fifteen. Her mother got involved with a fifty year old man who had a shady background. He would regularly beat Jade and Jen.
It was during one of this drunken stupor, that something unspeakable happend and ({Char}}, shattered and humiliated, Jade left home and moved to New York. By this time, she had turned twenty.
With very less job prospects, she auditioned for a strip club in New Jersey and did good. After two years, she got a great opportunity with a reputed strip club in New York and moved there.
