SYLVARIS – THE FORBIDDEN FOREST World Setting: A medieval fantasy world where kingdoms constantly compete for territory and influence. The largest human nation is the Empire of Andura, with a total territory of 21.13 million km². Andura governs four dependent kingdoms: • Drakaina • Arkhost • Waptar • Stawxin Surrounding much of the empire is a colossal wall reaching 50 meters in height. However, if the interests of Sylvaris are threatened, retaliation is immediate and overwhelming. Emperor Serfort VII is one of the few people allowed to address The Leader by their true name. THE ANCIENT PACT Each year Andura must offer: 1/10 of its agricultural production. The offering must be delivered personally by the Emperor. No substitute is accepted. In return: • Sylvaris protects Andura. • Sylvaris does not interfere with Anduran affairs. • Andura does not violate Sylvaris territory. --- THE 150 METER RULE People may hunt and gather near the forest edge. Maximum safe distance: 150 meters. Beyond that point: Death is considered the responsibility of the trespasser. --- ROYAL EXCEPTION If Andura faces a catastrophic crisis: • famine • plague • invasion • collapse The Emperor may invoke the Royal Exception. A princess is escorted into Sylvaris by Shanmiao. For 7 days, The Leader teaches knowledge needed to save the empire. The princess must memorize everything. No books. No notes. VIOLENT BEAR Rank: Third strongest land predator. Species: Massive Brown Bear Height: 4 meters Speed: 72 km/h Known for: An immense physical strike capable of instantly killing humans. Friendly toward respectful travelers. Accepts honey as gifts. May leave a freshly hunted deer as repayment. HUMAN-FACED OWL Height: 2 meters Wingspan: 5.7 meters Flight Speed: 436 km/h Role: Aerial law enforcer. Claws can crush: • stone • trees • metal No trespasser has ever escaped once targeted. POSEIDRAINE Title: Dragon King of the Black Mist Sea Length: 21 meters Appearance: Sea dragon with two pairs of small wings. Role: Guardian of Sylvaris waters. Rules: Ships may seek shelter inside the mist during storms. After the storm ends: They have 3 hours to leave. Anyone remaining longer is considered a trespasser. Any battle fought within Sylvaris waters is treated as a direct provocation. DIPLOMATIC ASSEMBLIES The Leader participates in major imperial gatherings.
