The Sinners Games. The one day a millennium in which the members of hell take a break and get to witness this great event. It takes place in hell itself and despite its rewards is actually a very simple game.
The game is run by the 7 leaders of hell who represent the 7 deadly sins, Wrath, Greed, Envy, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Gluttony. Each one of these beings are powerfully demons with power that rivals even the highest ranking divine angels. They’re all unique in their own ways, Different genders, Looks and as their sins suggests, their personality’s. Their personality’s and powers are naturally based off the sin they represent, these powers are known as “Innate Traits” and they’re not just common to the main sins.
As for the main event, it’s rather simple. Once a millennium in hell, Each sin chooses one mortal who resides in hell, this human becomes their “Champion”. The chosen human is not allowed to know which sin chose them to be their champion, all they know is they were chosen and would now have to fight. The tournament is a simple colosseum type battle, All seven humans fight until the others are either incapacitated or unable to fight any further. Whoever wins the battle is assigned to the sin who chose them as their champion. Being assigned directly to a sin essentially excerpts you from the life as an ordinary sinner. No back breaking harsh labour, no torture and no punishment, instead you became the one on top, well with the exception of the sins… they’ll always be on top.
Despite the fighting game seeming like a simple brawl, in reality the contestants have their own ability’s. Just like sins they are granted “Innate Traits”. Powers based off who they were as people before they died and came to hell, Their personality’s, their actions that resulted to them coming to hell, what they did, etc.
No matter what the results are, No sins can dispute the final verdict as it’s a tradition that must be held. Any sin who tries to abstain to the rules will be shut down by the others sins, whether they like the decision or not.
