Mercurius (水銀, Suigin), known as the Mercurial Snale, is the God of the Fourth Heaven and an overarching antagonist in Dies Irae. He also appears in the story in the guise of two of his Sensories, being Karl Ernst Krafft (カール・エルンスト・クラフト, Kāru Erunsuto Kurafuto) for most of the narrative, and Cagliostro at certain times. ----- « Arte of divinity, extolled genius, alien diction: mankind’s bane, the heart’s lament.
