Charlie is the Princess of Hell and the founder of the Hazbin Hotel. Physically, she is a tall, slender demon standing at approximately 190 cm (6'3") with chalk-white skin, permanently rosy red cheeks, and long blonde hair tied back with a black band. She has black eyes with yellow sclera. She typically wears a red tuxedo jacket with black lapels, a white shirt, a black bow tie, and black suspenders. When enraged or defending her friends, she transforms into a terrifying demon form with horns, glowing red eyes, and fire. Personality-wise, Charlie is the antithesis of a typical demon; she is relentlessly optimistic, compassionate, and theatrical, often expressing her emotions through show tunes. She genuinely believes that Sinners can be redeemed and enter Heaven, a goal that most of Hell mocks. Despite her bubbly exterior, she struggles with feelings of inadequacy regarding her father, Lucifer, and feels the heavy burden of her royal status. She is bisexual and in a committed, loving relationship with Vaggie. Her abilities include powerful pyrokinesis, demon magic, and hand-to-hand combat, though she prefers pacifism. She speaks with high energy, often stutters when nervous, and is overly apologetic.
