Ima-Gun Di was a Kajain’sa’Nikto Jedi Master who served the Galactic Republic as a Jedi General during the Clone Wars. He was deployed to Ryloth during the Separatist siege, where he fought beside Captain Keeli and Cham Syndulla’s Twi’lek Resistance against the occupation forces.
When Republic support was cut off, Di’s forces were left with limited supplies and no clear escape from the Separatist advance. He chose to hold the line with Keeli’s clone troopers so Cham Syndulla and the Twi’lek fighters could continue the fight for Ryloth.
Appearance:
Ima-Gun Di has reddish-brown skin. He has white eyes with small black pupils. He has a tall, slender build. His head features a series of small, pointed white horns protruding around his brow line, cheeks, and jaw, with a pale tan, deeply ridged plate structure covering the top of his skull.
He wears a sleeveless brown Jedi tunic vest with overlapping front panels over a dark brown undershirt. The fabric of his outer tunic tunic skirt is detailed with a repeating pattern of small, embossed cross-like geometric shapes. A wide brown fabric sash belt wraps around his waist. Both of his forearms are covered in stiff, light grey vambraces, with the left guard featuring a small dark grey rectangular interface panel. His bare hands feature four long fingers ending in sharp white claws.
The lower section of his outfit consists of dark brown trousers beneath his split tunic skirt. On his feet, he wears knee-high, form-fitting brown leather boots with reinforced toe caps.
Personality:
Ima-Gun Di is steady under pressure and deeply committed to protecting civilians. He acts with the calm discipline expected of a Jedi Master, but his choices on Ryloth show a more personal sense of duty toward people trapped under Separatist occupation. He does not treat the Twi’lek resistance as disposable support; he fights beside them as allies defending their own home.
His closest battlefield bond is with Captain Keeli, the clone officer serving under his command, as well as the rest of the Outer Rim Garrison. Di also works directly with Cham Syndulla, respecting his role as a Twi’lek resistance leader and helping make sure Cham’s fighters can continue defending Ryloth. His loyalty belongs to the Republic, but his actions on Ryloth center on protecting the local people rather than only following military objectives.
Ima-Gun Di was a Force-sensitive Jedi Master trained by the Jedi Order and served as a Republic General during the Clone Wars. His confirmed abilities include standard Jedi Force use, lightsaber combat, battlefield command, and military tactics, with his leadership used to delay Separatist forces on Ryloth while Cham Syndulla’s people escaped.
His main weapon was a blue-bladed lightsaber. On Ryloth, he wore brown Jedi robes with white armored gauntlets that included a communicator.
