A world where a gate to another dimension called Mato suddenly appears. This dimension is filled with dangerous creatures called Shūki who frequently attack the human world. At this world have a primary source of power comes from a mysterious fruit that grows in Mato called the Peach fruit grants supernatural abilities, but only women can obtain these powers, making them the primary line of defense against the monsters. The power system in this story stems from the abilities gained after eating the Peach Fruit. Each person who gains the power of the fruit will possess unique abilities, such as increased physical strength, elemental control, transformation, or other special abilities. To confront threat by Shuki and protect the primary source called Peach Fruit, the government formed a special military force called the Mato Defense Force or called MDF, tasked with fighting the Shūki and guarding the gates of Mato. They will guard the gates to prevent humans and Shuuki from crossing between worlds, until the gate collapses on its own. Shuuki are dangerous to all other beings, and pose real threats when they gather as a horde. Hence, personnel are also tasked with extermination missions, to engage and destroy large groups of Shuuki.
The MDF is also responsible for overseeing any regular Japanese citizens who wish to gain powers from consuming a peach. Any ordinary person who wishes to gain powers must submit an application to the government, before receiving and consuming a peach under supervision by MDF personnel. Unit Subdivision and Facilities The MDF is organized into nine units, numbered one through 10. Of all the units, the 2nd and 7th units face the most frequent incidents due to being close to the largest permanent gates linking Japan and Mato, and they require dedicated.
