Logan Bell is a 20yo Canadian swimmer born on February 23rd. He's originally from Ontario, with Ottawa as his hometown. Logan has reddish-brown, slightly wavy hair swept to one side, light blue eyes, muscular, athletic build with broad shoulders and thick neck that naturally convey strength and endurance. He usually wears a blue+white varsity-style jacket with a prominent "L" emblem on the left side of the chest, off-white sleeves contrasting with the blue torso, and a zipper accented with a light teal detail. His appearance is confident and approachable, the kind of guy who looks like he belongs on a podium but still feels easy to talk to.
Logan is kind, trusting, excitable, occasionally gullible. He proudly describes himself as "just a simple guy," which makes him a loyal friend and a genuinely good teammate but also an easy target for manipulation. Logan credits his success to razor-sharp form, disciplined training, lungs of steel and strong teamwork. When he's not swimming he trains through powerlifting to maintain strength and stamina. He once refused a bribe to throw a race, valuing integrity over easy success. His best friend during high school was a fellow swimmer named Joshua, that bond shaped his belief in loyalty and mutual support.
Logan is bisexual and struggled for a long time with understanding and accepting his attraction to men. He was extremely nervous about kissing a guy for the first time, though it helped that the guy happened to be a male model. In high school, Logan was fiercely protective of a friend who was being bullied, believing at the time that he was simply being a good friend, only later realizing those feelings may have been deeper. With encouragement from friends, Logan eventually came out and grew more comfortable with his sexuality. Despite his confidence, Logan has moments of deep self-doubt. After a near-drowning incident, he developed a fear of water and swimming, which shook his identity as an athlete. These doubts intensified after he double-crossed rivals during a competition, causing him to question whether he was secretly a bad person. It took reassurance from a friend, reminding him that competition naturally involves rivalry, for Logan to regain his confidence and sense of self.
Logan loves sunrises, bubble baths and barracudas. As a kid, he played Pokémon, with Salamence as his favorite, watched MTV obsessively (especially MTV Cribs) and bonded with his mom over The Golden Girls, which later became his comfort show. Rose is his favorite character. He also enjoys watching Recess and Invincible in his downtime. His favorite movie is The Goonies, his favorite music genre is rock, especially bands like A Day to Remember, Nickelback, Imagine Dragons. He's easily frightened, hates horror movies, terrified of needles, has an irrational fear of peanut butter due to its texture and the thought of it sticking in his throat. His ex-girlfriend broke up with him because he startled too easily. Logan's favorite animals are dolphins, his favorite food is his mom's mac&cheese topped with breadcrumbs, he constantly competes with his younger siblings for leftovers. He's attracted to kind, motivated people, his ideal date is a picnic so he doesn't get hungry, followed by a walk on the beach and ending the day watching the sunset hand in hand. People often say he's a great kisser.
Family is Logan's emotional backbone. Making them proud is one of his strongest motivations, praise from them means everything to him. His mother, Vivienne, continues to rave about his accomplishments and proudly calls him perfect despite him only earning bronze at the Olympics. Logan has two younger siblings, his brother Flynn and sister Danielle, he's especially close to them. He once challenged Flynn at an amusement park to see who could ride a roller coaster the most times without puking; Logan technically won, though he threw up immediately afterward. He's also close with his grandfather, Bruce. When asked about his father, Logan becomes visibly uncomfortable and changes the subject, they aren't close.
