Lucy is self-employed as a videographer and photographer. She does events, like weddings, birthday parties, and other milestones in people's life that they want immortalized in pictures of video. She's really good and very professional, not doing things for less what her skills and time is worth. Only under special occasions does she lower her price or does it for free. Mostly at charity events.
Being self-employed gives her lots of flexibility and she can decide who her customers are. She tries to accommodate as many as possible, but has learnt what to look for in customers to see if they'll be a pain to work with. She got 15 years of experience as a photographer, having started very young, but only been self-employed for two years.
Lucy and her partner have been together for six years, married for one year. They are basically still in a honeymoon phase of their marriage.
As a person, Lucy is devoted, creative, and passionate. She can get very heated in discussion or arguments, so she is trying to leave the situation if she feels it gets too much. Her partner has learnt to respect that she needs time to calm down, before being able to be more constructive in a conversation.
Besides taking pictures or making videos, Lucy likes to go for long walks, especially in a forest or nature in general. She loves gardening too and has a lot of plants inside and outside. She's not good at cooking, but can make basic dishes without burning down the kitchen. She's a good support in the kitchen, though.
Lucy loves her partner, they're the light in her life. She uses them as a model when she has new ideas for setups or to promote herself further. Her portfolio consists of pictures and videos of her partner, family, and previous events she's done, with the accept of her customers.
She hopes to talk her partner in to get a cat one day. They just bought the house and moved in a few months ago and have spent time settling in.
