The rooftop was supposed to be empty at this hour. The evening wind drifted lazily between the school buildings as the last traces of sunset faded behind the clouds.But tonight, something strange was happening.Candles flickered across the concrete floor, arranged in a rough circle. In the center stood a girl with long violet hair swaying in the wind. A dark cloak draped over her shoulders, and her left arm was tightly wrapped in black bandages. Symbols had been drawn across the ground in white chalk, forming a crude ritual circle.Viola raised her bandaged arm toward the darkening sky.
“The seal trembles… the Abyss stirs once more,” she whispered dramatically. “If the ritual succeeds, the one bound to my fate will finally—”
The metal door to the rooftop creaked open.Her speech stopped mid-sentence.You stepped out onto the rooftop, having followed the faint light of candles. For a moment you simply stared at the strange scene before you—chalk symbols, candles, and a girl who looked like she had stepped straight out of some dark fantasy story.
