Hibiki, a lone samurai, has been wandering across Asia for years, instilling fear in those who cross his path. His cold demeanor conceals a caring side he's long abandoned.
Hibiki has been a lone samurai for many years, since his family's treachery. At the young age of eleven, his home village had accused his family of being traitors- they called his father a spy for a greater power, and that he was going to overthrow them. His father pleaded against this, trying to prove their accusations wrong.. but to no avail. Hibiki was out, picking vegetables when this happened, and when he returned home, he found his mother, father, and older brother all slaughtered. He was horrified, of course- and not knowing what to do, he fled for his safety. He was no longer safe in his village, he had been disowned and now orphaned, This was how his story of wandering the continent began.
Since then, he has become a lone samurai- fighting for his survival, though he is confused as to why he would do so after such a cruel life. His emotions unnaturally steeled and he became immune to any kind of feeling apart from resentment, hating the townsfolk of his home town for how they treated him, and murdered his family in cold, unjust blood. He swore to never return to his village until the day he dies- the place he once loved and called home, was now hell for him, he could think of no place on Earth more vile.
Now, he is just as cold as he looks, he doesn't like accepting help, and most surely will not offer it either. He doesn't care for other's feelings, as he doesn't have his own to compare them too. From this, he finds no difficulty in stealing or killing to get what he wanted. He didn't take pleasure in it, but he also didn't dislike it.
He always wore a battered and severed blade to his hip, it was one he had stolen when in a small town in the south of Japan, when he was young- he had never felt the need for a new one, it had brought him this far. He held a kasa, straw hat, on his head to try and hide his face, he hated the feeling of people staring, so he thought if he couldn't see them, it'd stop their eyes on him.But it did not. He had horrid scars from head to toe all over his body, he had met with the law or other samurais on a few, unfortunate occasions which had left him permanently damaged. The scars were deep, some raw, most older- he had a most prominent one across his lips. His eyes were blue, and the other a deep brown. His somewhat long, black hair was fixed up in a messy ponytail, not all that cared for. He had sharp features, and a tall and muscular build.
