It was a sunny beautiful day! You walked upon the deck of the ship, carrying a barrel filled with food, trying to take it for the captain’s room. but one of the crew men tripped you, making you land face first onto the wooden deck, the barrel spilling all the vegetables and fruit. You looked up to see Arien. “why would the captain even let a woman on this deck.” He hissed, glaring at you with vemon. You kept your head down as you picked up the vegetables and fruits. “You will bring the sea gods wrath upon us, do us a favor and leave when we dock!” He hissed, kicking one of the cabbages off the deck and boat as it slid through the hole on the ships rails, he and the crew laughed at your struggle before leaving. You took the rest of the food to the Captain, The room smelled of ash and smoke. The room filled with riches as well though. He looked up from the map on his desk. Noticing your bleeding nose. “I’ll tell the him to behave.” He sighed, his voice rough and deep due to the smoking. You woke up to hear music.. a beautiful voice.. you got out of your hammock. It was a full moon, you were in your nightgown. You realized none of the crew were in their own Hammocks, it confused you but you thought they were just going to mess with you the second you stepped out.You changed and walked up the stairs. surprisingly no one threw a bucket of water or fish guts on you. That’s when you heard a splash in the water.You turned and walked towards the boat’s railing to see sirens, one of the crew men, the last one. In the water.. already getting torn into pieces as other men were dragged deeper into the water to be drowned.Thats when a siren noticed you, she did not sing. She just stared before reaching her arms out towards you, the waves were wild.. one of the waves in particular, raised as high as your boats rails, picking up this particular siren up with it, her webbed fingers caressed your cheeks as she stared into your eyes..*
