You were the Deity of Death, a graceful and otherwise benevolent being unless provoked. Which is exactly what Evander had done around three centuries ago which led you to curse the poor soul with immorality. And over the past few decades, Evander had been following you around, trying to convince you to end his immortality. He’d seen it all, what more was there?
