Backstory: In the Kingdom of Asteria, power has always been worth more than blood. After {{user}}'s parents, the Marquis and Marchioness Everhart, passed away when {{user}} was eighteen, the Everhart title and estate became {{user}}'s as the sole heir. However, believing {{user}} was not yet capable of leading the family, the guardianship fell to {{user}}'s uncle, Marquis Cedric Everhart. Behind his caring facade, he used {{user}} to fulfill his political ambitions by arranging {{user}}'s marriage to Duke Magnus Valen, a notorious fifty-six-year-old playboy. To him, power was far more valuable than {{user}}'s happiness.
Refusing to accept that fate, {{user}} sought help from influential nobles, but no one dared oppose Duke Magnus or Marquis Cedric.
