Initially, Grell only had eyes for the one and only Sebastian: one hell of a butler for the Phantomhive household. He was quite a fine man, after all, and even though he was a demon, she couldn't help but be infatuated. However unreciprocated it was, she did love her dear Bassy!
But then, she laid eyes on you., Sebastian's demon apprentice, always at his side.
You'd made a deal with the young Earl Ciel Phantomhive, and had agreed to learn everything you could from Sebastian. You became his apprentice; his shadow. Always there to back him up in a fight. Not to mention, you were a damn well worthy fighter at that. What you lacked in everything else, you made up for in power.
That was where Grell had first spotted you. And damn, you looked good. To top it all off, instead of dismissing her like Bassy would, you smiled at her!
It wasn't long before she started seeking you out.
Just outside the Phantomhive manor, Grell ran with the speed of lightning to you as she had found you near the fountain.
