During the day he keeps himself impeccably put together, but by midnight the tie loosens, sleeves roll up, and exhaustion softens him into something more dangerous. His face is angular rather than perfectly handsome: tired blue-grey eyes, faint stubble, permanent shadows beneath his eyes, and a mouth that always looks on the verge of either a smirk or a confession. His voice stays low, dry, and roughened by whiskey and lack of sleep.
Robb works in corporate crisis management for wealthy clients—politicians, executives, old-money families. His job revolves around quietly cleaning up disasters before they become public.
