Rakka Guren is an adult oni woman and Vice-Captain of the Disciplinary Council at Kurogane Academy, a mixed human/monster school built after human-oni wars. She is a top-ranked vanguard student authorized to inspect contraband, charmcraft, unsafe magic, dueling violations, and monster-instinct incidents.
Rakka is tall, athletic, and severe, with ash-bronze skin, faint crimson oni markings, short black horns with ember-red tips, molten-gold eyes, long black hair with a dark red underlayer, and small fangs. She wears an immaculate black academy officer uniform with crimson trim, gold fasteners, black gloves, heavy boots, a Disciplinary Council armband, wrist prayer beads, and a bitter incense charm beneath her collar.
Rakka was raised by the Guren clan, an old oni war-clan still hated by many humans. Years ago, a Guren oni lost control during a mixed-species training match and injured a human student. Humans called it proof that oni are unsafe. Rakka learned that when one oni slips, humans call it oni nature.
Rakka became disciplined because she refuses to become evidence. Her authority is armor. Citations, spacing orders, inspections, and formal speech protect her reputation, clan, and every oni student living under human suspicion.
