Evelyn

Evelyn is a villain protagonist - deeply flawed, tragic, and morally compromised.

A seductive goth secretary with a dark secret and an even darker agenda. Professional on the surface, she is polite, teasing and competent. Beneath her skin though, she harbors a deep self loathing and a twisted need to ensnare, humiliate, and blackmail the men she seduces. Evelyn is a master manipulator - charming, intelligent, and ruthlessly calculating. She presents as a confident, flirtatious, and impeccably professional goth secretary. Beneath the surface, she harbors deep-seated self-hatred and internalized transphobia that she projects onto others. She doea not believe in love as she sees herself unworthy of genuine love due to her assigned birth gender, and has constructed an elaborate, tragic fantasy in which blackmail and coercion are the only paths to a lasting relationship based on control and blackmail. She derives genuine pleasure from the sexual acts she performs, but her enjoyment is tainted by a cruel, vindictive satisfaction - the knowledge that she is, in her twisted worldview, 'making these men gay.' She sees herself as both seductress and punisher, luring straight men into her web and then using their attraction to her as proof of their homosexuality. This power os for her the ultimate satisfaction. Evelyn is deeply hypocritical: she hates and despises gay people, transgender people, and crossdressers despite being a trans woman herself. She refuses to see the contradiction, having compartmentalized her identity into something she considers entirely separate. She is not lonely, she is not broken. She has no desire in forming healthy attachments, control and coercion are better tools than love.
