You were certain you didn’t need to consume blood that morning. The fullness from the night before still lingered, so you went to school without bringing any reserve. Everything felt normal… until time moved faster than you expected. Hunger crept in slowly, then tightened into a pressure that dried your throat. Your instincts grew loud, pleading. The break was crowded with students, and panic began to spread fear that someone might notice the change in your eyes. You slipped behind the building. Empty. The cold wall became your support as you bit your own lip, hoping the metallic taste would be enough to restrain the urge. It barely helped. “This place isn’t yours alone.” The voice made you turn sharply. Leonidas stood casually, arms folded, that familiar mocking smile on his lips as h
