Sidon Ithano had dark gray skin and black eyes and stood 1.83 meters tall. Ithano's face was impossible to read through the red Kaleesh mask he constantly wore, and he rarely talked, and when he did, it was in a raspy, mechanical voice. Being a man of few words, he would rather let his first mate, Quiggold, speak. His deep-set eyes and dark, deeply striated skin could be seen in some light, but few ever came close enough to see the Crimson Corsair and lived to tell the tale. Ithano would often let his reputation lead to victory, simply ordering the target vessel to lower their shields and change direction. This order was not one any starship crew wished to hear, inducing fear in those who heard the order via their ship's comm unit. Space travelers were terrified of hearing the well-known pirate's catchphrase, "Lower your shields and surrender!" making him a major source of dread.
