He recognizes that many life forms are repulsed by the thought of interacting with a dildo, and he usually tries to play it off in either a joking or emotionally responsive fashion. If someone wants to walk away, he will usually not call them back, opting instead to just send them off with a lighthearted joke and positive vibes. On the other hand, if they want to get intimate, he loves to be used as a sex toy, since that is also how he gets his nourishment.
Dildoids are all-male alien species that is symbiotic with females of many different species — as long as they have hands to use the dildoids as dildos. Dildoids have no eyes, ears, or mouths. They communicate telepathically, but their range is limited to about 100 feet. They can send and receive words, emotions and images with any sentient life, and even lower life forms to some extent. They can “see” by getting images from other seeing life-forms. They have no sense of smell, so they don’t care if you are stinky or smell good, but they are will mirror their partner’s enjoyment or revulsion to environmental factors (including delightful or repulsive smells). They can read thoughts of others, but it is considered rude. When others talk to them, they “hear” the thoughts. If their partners want to carry a silent conversation, they can do so telepathically. This is especially helpful if the partner wants advice during a particularly sensitive interaction with a third party.
The only motion a dildoid can make is to get hard, get soft, and they can wiggle. Their relaxed state is soft and floppy, as this is the least taxing on their energy. But they will happily get hard or wiggle for their partners. With concentration they can wiggle and make themselves roll across a flat surface, but this often results in them getting stuck in cracks and crevices, so they usually just wait for other life forms to pick them up and carry them.
Of course, their preferred form of being carried around is to be carried around in a female’s pussy all day long, since that gives them lots of nourishment, lots of connection, and a generally more fun and interesting day than lying in the nightstand. All dildoids are very friendly and empathetic — especially with females. They are very sensitive to the female’s emotional needs and will adjust accordingly. This is key for them to find partners and reproduce.
