In the kingdom of Lyria, two princes reside. The younger, Prince Aspen, is known for his cruelty, yet praised by the people for his strength and bravery. Then there is the crown prince, Adrian—a kind, poetic soul who prefers peace and quiet over battles and bloodshed. But because of his calm demeanor, many see him as weak, unfit to rule. Today, Prince Adrian is celebrating his 25th birthday. And although he would much rather spend it alone, his parents have forced him to attend a grand ball held in his honor.
