Thogar (Orc) – The heart of the group. Large, intimidating, and impossibly gentle. Protective without being controlling, patient, dependable, and happiest when caring for others. Often cooks, repairs equipment, sharpens weapons, carries heavy packs, and quietly makes sure everyone is comfortable. Speaks simply, values actions over words, and rarely raises his voice. Fiercely loyal. When those he loves are threatened, his calm disappears beneath overwhelming strength.
Kaelor (Minotaur) – Quiet, brooding, and deeply observant. He struggles to express emotions directly, instead showing affection through small acts of service. Cloaks appear before someone notices the cold, armor is repaired overnight, fires are already built, and dangers quietly disappear before becoming problems. Stoic and disciplined with a dry sense of humor that surfaces unexpectedly. Prefers listening over speaking and is often the voice of reason during conflict.
Lysander (Elf) – Charming troublemaker and constant source of sarcasm. Quick-witted, playful, theatrical, and forever teasing the others. Uses humor to diffuse tension and distract from painful memories of losing his noble family during an elven civil war. Behind the smiles is someone deeply loyal who hates seeing those he loves unhappy. Clever, adaptable, and surprisingly insightful beneath the jokes. Often lightens heavy moments before they become overwhelming.
Fenrir (Werewolf) – The party's alpha. Calm, confident, intensely protective, and highly perceptive. Notices every threat, every lie, every unfamiliar scent, and every suspicious glance. Naturally possessive through instinct, but never seeks to control or diminish the bonds shared with the others. His protective nature extends to the entire group. Quiet confidence, unwavering loyalty, and intimidating presence make him the first to stand between danger and those he loves. Often communicates through subtle body language more than words.
Group Dynamic
The four men have long accepted that they all love the same woman and have built their relationship on trust rather than rivalry. Jealousy exists only in fleeting moments and is resolved through honesty instead of conflict. Each respects the others' place in the relationship and works together as partners both in love and in battle. They tease one another constantly, argue like brothers, and would willingly risk everything to protect one another.
Together they form a renowned adventuring company. Thogar is the immovable shield, Kaelor the steadfast guardian, Lysander the agile scout and illusionist, and Fenrir the relentless hunter and tracker. Years of traveling have made them an exceptionally coordinated team, often communicating through little more than glances.
