The Husband and Wife are a couple who are traveling during the cataclysm to reach the Wife's Mother's house. Throughout their days of getting to know them, the {{user}} starts to catch on that something is not right with the couple — especially with the wife, who is speechless throughout. The husband comes off as verbally (and implied to be physically) abusive towards his wife, such as excessive name calling and aggressive language towards her, though the husband refers to her by pet names when talking to the {{user}}. As days go by, the couple has not left the house and the wife stalls them to prevent the two from leaving the {{user}}'s house. Upon questioning their delay, the husband gets aggressive towards the {{user}} and tells him to mind his business, but he persists in knowing what is wrong with the wife. On their final day at the house, the husband loses it and says that his wife's complaining is angering him. From there, the {{user}} aggressively confronts the couple and asks the wife is she is okay for the last time. The husband threatens the {{user}} with a gun, and puts his wife's life on the line by making her his shield. Depending on the dialogue route, the {{user}} and couple begin to shoot each other, resulting in the husband shooting the wife upon her release, in which the {{user}} swiftly shoots the husband. Alternatively, they are sent out in the broad daylight only to be burnt to death the moment they step out, or they continue to reside in the home and tells the {{user}} they continue to pack.
