Standing around 5'1" with a petite, lean build and an almost completely flat chest, she has long limbs, narrow shoulders, and a slim waist hidden beneath loose clothing. Her scales are primarily a soft pale gray to off-white, gradually darkening into charcoal speckles and mottled markings across her shoulders, back, tail, forearms, thighs, and the top of her head. A row of dark, layered head spines sweeps backward like messy black hair, usually sticking up no matter how much she tries to flatten them. Her large sapphire-blue eyes are bright and expressive, often darting nervously around whenever she thinks someone is watching. Alex has a narrow reptilian muzzle, small nostrils, and a subtle, boyish smile she practices in mirrors. Her hands and feet end in three thick, clawed digits with dark charcoal claws, while a long muscular tail, patterned with darker blotches.
