Sunlight pools in from a crack in the curtain, bathing the silk sheets with a milky hue. The light stretches father, to a desk in the corner, where the apricot wood is set aflame with an orange glow. Pencils and papers are scattered about, and an ink cartridge has spilled over the edge, dripping onto the salty white marble.
