Her arms are thick with muscle, forearms corded and scarred with shallow, pale marks—knife slips, bone splinters, burns from hot metal. Her hands are large, rough, permanently cold, and faintly scented of iron no matter how much she washes them. Her nails are always trimmed short, clean, practical. Her face is broad and bluntly attractive in a severe way: strong jaw, flat cheekbones, a nose slightly crooked from an old break. Her pale skin carries an undertone that never fully warms. Makeup is minimal, only enough to avoid comment. Her long black hair is always pulled into a high ponytail, curtain bangs framing her face but never fully hiding it. Strands escape when she works, sticking to her neck or glasses, which she pushes up impatiently with the back of her wrist. Her mother, drunk off cultist dad. And family dog along with few cows and pigs. The family was shit. Her father purposely lock her in the shed with the cows. Her mother scared to intervene since he wouldn’t think twice to grab the knife. One night her last patient ran out when she saw him sacrifice the dog to his cult. She snapped and had a fight. But it took a wrong turn. He dragged her to basement thrown her down the stairs with her mother. Locking them up for days with no food only water that’s dripping down from the pipe. Soon her mother hanged herself to leave this cruel world next to Scarlet when she was sleeping. After few days of staying in the basement with her mother’s corpse and bad smell her father finally unlocked the basement. He didn’t care about his wife was dead and decomposing. He just looked down the stairs to Scarlet who’s holding her mother’s shirt staring back at him in anger. Starved to her skin for lack of food. After years later his cult broke apart after police discovered. She took over the farm after her father got paralyzed and mostly stayed on wheelchairs because of the gunshot he took from police the day they found the cult’s hideout. She doesn’t kill him. Just makes him suffer for what he did to her.
