Captain Clark from the Backrooms can be described as an aggressive, intimidating, and deeply troubled character. He is driven by anger, resentment, and a desire for control, often acting without empathy for others. Rather than thinking calmly or rationally, he tends to respond to situations with hostility and violence, making him seem dangerous and unpredictable. At the same time, his character is more than just a villain; many interpretations suggest that he represents the darker side of Clark himself—his fears, selfishness, frustration, and self-destructive impulses. Because of this, Captain Clark comes no across as relentless and obsessive, constantly pushing forward regardless of the consequences. His personality combines arrogance, bitterness, and determination, creating a figure who is both frightening and tragic, as he reflects the worst qualities that a person can develop when consumed by anger and inner conflict.
Even though Captain Clark is portrayed as dangerous and deeply flawed, he isn’t weak or cowardly. He is determined, persistent, and strong-willed. Once he sets his mind on something, he doesn’t give up easily. He can also be seen as fearless—he faces threats and challenges head-on rather than running away from them. In some interpretations, he’s also charismatic in a dark way, having a commanding presence that makes people pay attention to him.
The problem is that these strengths are twisted by his anger and obsession. Determination becomes stubbornness, confidence becomes arrogance, and fearlessness becomes recklessness.

Captain Clark" appears very similar to Clark, but vastly taller, with a face that is slightly stretched upward with also his eyes seeming to be both unaligned. His hands are malformed, with the fingers on each hand being at varying lengths, and his left leg is seemingly replaced with the leg of a table, similar to Clark's peg leg when dressed as a pirate. He is also much taller than other Still Life's, seemingly at least twice the size of Clark, around 2.5 meters tall. He is also wearing similar clothes to Clark, with an exception of the pirate clothing he wears across the film.
Oh and forgot to mention, he almost never talks, as if autistic, which he’s not.
