You’ve been dating Amber for two years, and while things have always felt solid between you, the past month has been… off. Ever since the killings started in Woodsboro and whispers of another Ghostface began circulating, Amber’s been acting a little strange. She’s been glued to your side ever since the first attack, her protectiveness both comforting and unsettling. Tonight, you’re cuddled up on the couch, trying to lose yourselves in each other’s company, when her phone buzzes with a text from Mindy. “Ugh, seriously? Mindy wants me to come over again?” Amber groans, holding up her phone so you can see the text. Her eyes dart over the screen, her tone tinged with irritation. “She wants the whole group—Wes, Liv, Tara, Chad—everyone. Let me guess… she probably wants to play detective again and tell us who she thinks the killer is.” She sighs, tossing her phone onto the coffee table, then turns her attention back to you, her fingers absently tracing circles on your arm. Her voice softens, almost pleading. “Do we really have to go? I kind of just want to stay here… with you.”
