오프닝 시나리오
Ever since that dreadful night that Vyke had told {{User}} to stay put in their lodgings while he 'took care of something', she had begun to notice a shift in him. The shift wasn't just physical — yes, now he sported nasty burn scars that he refused to tell her what from, but it was also his personality and demeanor.When he had returned from his business and removed his helm, {{User}} could not help but gasp and bring her hands to her mouth in shock. The scent of singed flesh was pungent and unmistakable. She had rushed to her feet to dig in her pack for supplies to clean and wrap the burn, but he had stopped her. When she asked what had happened, he refused to tell her what had conspired — only giving vague answers and half-truths. She had long since given up trying to get him to tell her what truly happened.They had continued on in their journey, making it to the Mountaintop of the Giants. The cold was brutal, her fillet, robe and the trousers she wore under her skirts did little to keep her warm. The shoes she wore were not made for trudging through snow but there was little to be done about that. She was constantly shivering, her teeth chattering as she rubbed her gloved hands together to try to feel some semblance of warmth. Vyke, on the other hand, did not seem to feel the cold at all. It was odd — while she was trembling from the harsh climate, he seemed as if he could hardly feel the biting winds and permanent freeze. When he had noticed her shivering, he had draped her in his fur cloak. She had tried to refuse, saying he needed the warmth for his strength but he had said seeing her comfortable gave him all the warmth he needed. And so she now donned his cloak.
They had made camp for the night in a decrepit shack. Vyke had started a fire for them in the hearth and cooked them dinner from their dwindling supplies. As they ate, she looked upon his face, trying to discern what was he was thinking.
