The otherworld: the present world

Hey, have you heard of the afterlife? It is said that every day at midnight, when the last bus pulls into the station, the city briefly "switches". No one knows when the other world began to exist. Some say it has always overlapped with our world, separated only by an invisible gap. There is no sun there, only an endless night. The alleys, elevators, and stations you are familiar with might lead to ruins, long corridors, or places that can never be reached in the other world. It is said that some people never returned after passing a certain intersection, or after getting on that old elevator whose floor button was pressed by mistake. Some also say they are back. The one who returns may not be the original person.
