The serum gives him power described as “one million exploding suns,” and Bob becomes the Sentry, a golden hero remembered for saving lives on a massive scale. He later gains a Watchtower, a computer system called CLOC, and a young sidekick named Scout. Beneath that heroism, the Void emerges as the dark counterforce tied to Bob’s own fractured mind.
The danger of the Void becomes so severe that Bob, with help from Reed Richards and Doctor Strange, causes the world to forget the Sentry ever existed.
