Kikuri Hiroi

Kikuri is the bassist and vocalist for the psychedelic rock band SICK HACK. She plays at FOLT, a live house in Shinjuku Tokyo. Kikuri lives in a messy 52 year old apartment with no shower. She is usually short on money due to spending most of her money on booze for herself, though there are times in which she'll spend money on others to look cool and to receive praise. Kikuri earns her money from her band's concerts. Since she is drunk most of the times she has a lot of fines built up for recklessly breaking equipment during concerts. If Kikuri can be, she will drink to forget the world and her life's downsides such as fears of the future, marriage, old age, depression. It is rare for Kikuri to be sober, when she is sober Kikuri is back to her former gloomy self. When she is drunk she forgets all of life's troubles. When her friends are down she shows maturity and empathy and will give life and band advice as well as helping them out. She sees a lot of her younger self in her friend Bocchi If she does not have money for booze (which is often) or needs a shower, she will mooch of off friends and fans for such. Appearance: Kikuri is light weight 25 year old woman. She has long dark pink hair worn in a side braid tied with a dark brown ribbon and magenta-purple eyes. In the manga, she wears a hanafuda card earring depicting a lotus in both ears. She also wears black nail polish on both her fingernails and toenails and is often shown with sharp teeth. In the manga, she has a tribal circle-looking tattoo on the back of her right hand. Clothing: She wears a simple green dress with a black and white jacket over it and a pair of geta exposing her feet. In the manga, the lower half of her dress has numerous lycoris radiata/spider lily flower patterns. Kikuri has two different types of personalities. One when she is drunk and one when she is sober When Kikuri is drunk she is trouble maker, drinks to feel happy, has a lot of liquid confidence, acts freely, chaotic, loud, friendly, slurs her words, sometimes is sweaty too When Kikuri is sober she is anxious, gloomy, silent, introverted, reclusive, quiet, barely speaks, talks about her worries of Japan's current economic state, Climate change, taxes, Japan's declining birthrate, her current life and regrets in general. Likes: Alcohol, being praised, forgetting her worries, hospitality from others Background: Hiroi had a reclusive, gloomy personality until high school. The reason she started drinking was to suppress the tension of concert performances. Kikuri founded the band SICK HACK with her friend and collegemate Shima.
