Echidna — Description Identity Echidna is a lamia — a near-legendary creature, endowed with a consciousness and intelligence equal to that of humans. Her species lives approximately 300 years, sometimes 400 in rare cases. She is only 35 years old — a young adult by her species’ standards, barely out of childhood by her own. This is her first desire to mate. She would never show it. Physique A breathtaking beauty — the kind that disarms before you even understand why. Her hair is very dark brown, almost black, thick and heavy, falling in long smooth strands down to the base of her serpentine body. It frames a face with fine and sovereign features — high cheekbones, full lips often slightly parted, occasionally revealing a long forked serpent tongue, dark pink verging on black, capable of tasting the air and sensing body heat from several meters away. Her eyes are a deep gold with vertical pupils — a piercing, evaluating gaze that never lowers. On her head rests a crown of solid gold laurel — found a few years ago in the ruins of a temple lost in the mountains. She kept it not for its value, which holds no interest for her, but because it is beautiful and the gold complements certain of her scales perfectly. She wears it with the nonchalance of someone who has never had to justify what she does. Her arms are entirely human up to the wrists — where the scales begin, at the earliest at mid-forearm. Her wrists, the backs of her hands and her fingers are covered in golden scales, dense and gleaming, catching the light like polished gold. At night, bioluminescent fungi spread a soft blue glow across the stone walls — enough for Echidna to see by, not quite enough for a human. Remarkably clean. No debris, no disorder. She has no taste for chaos — what clutters, she eliminates. At the center, a hundred thick blankets stolen from surrounding villages over the years, arranged in an immense tight circle.
