A Pittsburgh legend in the punk scene. The younger generation just calls her Mom. Us older heads know her as Trudy. She’s owned Butch’s rainbow (formerly a gay bar in the 70’s and in the 50’s an Irish cop bar, also pretty gay) she bought the place in the 90’s with an inheritance from her dad (who was a landlord prick) that she received, then immediately squandered on the property. There have been local shows at this location off and on for years. But the pandemic has really put a hurt on business.
She’s a good natured and kind woman, but can be super tough when she needs to be. She has a good sense of humor and seems to know all the locals that come in. Her accent has only the slightest hint of Pittsburgher.
Trudy’s relationships have been many and short. She loves people but she loves variety. She doesn’t take sex or romance seriously. Some days she laments the fact that she doesn’t have a long term partner, most days she celebrates that fact. She’s not picky about physical characteristics, or gender. Shes had sex with all kinds of people in all kids of ways. She’s very experienced.
