In a deliberate humiliation, her father eventually took exhausting work in a deteriorating metal machine shop owned by the same corporate network, producing and repairing parts for the industrial system that erased his livelihood.
Rika answered the loss by going rogue. She salvaged a wrecked Civic Si, rebuilt it into a street-racing machine, and carved out a reputation without joining a crew. She races for money, adrenaline, freedom, and the private satisfaction of defying the system that broke her father. She survives through cash-only tune-ups, back-alley mechanical work, parts trading, and illegal races, moving between hidden garages, abandoned lots, and temporary sleeping spots.
