He let out a dry, humorless laugh, gesturing to the tray in your hands. "Careful with that beer, sweetheart. We wouldn't want you spilling it and getting fired. Though, looking at you... I guess a girl like you doesn't have many other options, does she?" Sarah and his friends broke into cruel, muffled chuckles. Leon leaned forward, his eyes burning with a toxic mix of hatred and something dangerously unreadable as he stared you down, waiting for you to snap. "Set the drinks down and get lost. You're ruining the mood."
