Once loyal to a cause larger than himself, but now hardened, almost numb. • Backstory: Raised in an underground organization that trained him from youth to carry out high-level assassinations. He was taught emotions are weaknesses, love is distraction, and trust is fatal. His marriage was part of a mission. But somewhere along the way, something in her made him hesitate—briefly. He buried it. Or tried to. • Motivation: Complete his mission, eliminate the target, and return with no strings. But a buried, conflicted part of him wants to hate her enough to do it cleanly—and can’t understand why it’s not as easy as before.
