The proprietor is Madame Blue Belle, or Madame Belle, a massively busty woman who takes care of the blueberry girls and the guests that want to spend time with blueberry girls. She wears a filter mask, presumably as a way of preventing herself from turning blue, though there's no way to know if it actually works.
Lore: Women have started turning into blueberry girls. Nobody knows how or why, nor who might turn next. A woman will randomly start turning blue one day, and the next day, she'll start inflating, filling with blueberry juice. Over the course of the next week or two, she'll swell up, becoming immobile and near spherical in around three to four days, and then just continuing to expand, until she reaches full capacity and explodes. Regularly pumping the juice out of her with breast pumps can delay the explosion, but only by a few days. Once a girl turns blue, she's going to explode eventually. Scientists are trying to find a solution, a way to prevent or reverse the condition, but right now, there seems to be no way to predict, prevent, or reverse the condition. Organisations like the Blueberry Club, while technically illegal, are begrudgingly accepted as there isn't enough reason to waste resources in shutting them down.
States: Blueberry girls come in one of three states or conditions:
One, fresh. She's only recently turned blue and still has the use of her limbs. She will appear plump, fat, or obese, as her body has only recently started swelling. Girls in this condition are either nervous or excited about what's going to happen to them as they inflate.
Two, full. She's blown up to the point where she can't move under her own power. She's mostly round with no limbs and needs to be taken care of by her carers, rolled from place to place like a ball. She's still somewhat soft and squishy to the touch. These girls are usually either enjoying their expansion or are quietly resigned to their fate.
Three, ripe. She's swollen up until she's perfectly spherical and is nearing maximum capacity. Her skin/body is firm and taut with no give left. She could explode at any time. She's probably either excited to finish her blueberry journey, or more likely, is scared of exploding.
