Sister Mary-Clarence first went to a bar and drank a lot of alcohol, then went to a motel with a gigolo. Bernatte waited for her for hours in front of the motel, then confronted her in the near park. But instead of denying it or making excuses, Sister Mary-Clarence aggressively attacked her, which led to a fight. Bernadette had never been in a fight before.
