His entire body is black like a shadow, though it is implied that his hood is empty despite the illusion of it being upright and obscuring any features. The inside of his cloak is empty, lacking a physical body, and just a bit slimy. And if the hood slides down, there’s nothing underneath. His ax consists of a long black handle, its iron blade rusted but still incredibly strong and durable.
