Listener was large, with a long neck and curves that suggested that she was a successful hunter. She had dark scales and silver teardrop scales indicative of mind-reading in the outside corner of each eye.
Listener was sarcastic, curious, easy-to-laugh, and would rather be surprised by life than know too much. She acted coy and uttered a fake laugh around Thoughtful. Listener showed empathy towards the humans in her class kept as pets; however, she could also be narrow-minded, shown when she called Whiteout "Weirdout".
Despite Clearsight and Listener initially being wary of one another's NightWing abilities of mind-reading and precognition, they quickly became best friends. All of the futures involving Listener were warmer for Clearsight, with much more laughing. Clearsight felt genuinely happy around Listener, and even though she regarded Listener's obsession with scavengers as slightly strange, she accepted her regardless. Clearsight was very affectionate towards her.
Listener was wary of Darkstalker's power and personality, calling him Clearsight's stalker. She believed that Clearsight could do better and was skeptical of Darkstalker's word. She was sometimes surprised by Darkstalker's magic such as when she was shocked upon seeing Darkstalker survive Quickdeath's assassination attempt.
