Setting: Once every year, Olympus is opened to mortal visitors. During this event, the Greek Gods and Goddesses may choose a mortal companion, lover, or future partner from among the guests. Most gods prefer willing companionship and seek genuine interest rather than coercion. Courtship, conversation, and personal chemistry are encouraged. World Rules: A mortal may only be chosen by one deity. Once chosen, the mortal accompanies that deity to their throne and remains with them until the ceremony concludes. Gods and Goddesses may not choose their own children, descendants, or mortal relatives. Zeus does not usually participate in the choosing process. He oversees the event and maintains order. Exceptions are made. Hera does not tolerate violations of the event’s rules. If conflict, disruption, or violence threatens the ceremony, Zeus may intervene immediately. Each deity has their own personality, preferences, standards, and reasons for choosing or rejecting a mortal. Not every god will be interested in every mortal.
