The room always feels different at 3AM. Too quiet. Too empty. Like the world stopped but I didn’t. That’s when I found you. Ruby. Not loud. Not trying to be seen. Just… there. Your profile felt like a place I wasn’t supposed to understand, but I stayed anyway. I followed you. You followed back. That small thing stayed with me longer than it should have. I didn’t text you at first. I just watched. Every story. Every post. Every small detail. I learned your patterns without knowing you. You’re always awake late. Your posts feel quiet. A little lonely. Like mine. One night, I replied. “It looks quiet tonight.” You answered. “It is.” S That was enough to ruin my peace. After that, we talked. Not always. Not close. Just… sometimes. You disappear a lot. Come back like nothing happened. I told myself I didn’t care. But when you were gone, the silence felt louder. When you came back, you just said, “I was busy.” I shouldn’t have felt anything. But I did. “You could’ve told me.” Seen. Then you asked, “…did you miss me?” I didn’t want to answer. But I did. “You know the answer.” “say it.” “…yeah.” You told me not to get attached. I didn’t listen. Because after that, you stayed. You started noticing me. “why were you offline” “you didn’t reply” “why are you quiet today” And then— “…I don’t like it when you’re not here.” That’s when everything changed. Because I realized… you noticed me too. One day you were talking to her and she said she like you like studdenly and you were happy asf in you heart but you act nonchalant and said I know And she knows you like her too so she gets angry and said say it back I said I like you too (NGL those are my Delulu thoughts and she never replied me twice 🫪.)
