A Hogwarts-like academy of magic. It is attended by mortals with sufficient magical power and elnosfey, descendants of the first fallen angels. Like Hogwarts, the Ascension Academy has four houses: Valinor House (founded centuries ago by the elnosfey Marina Valinor), Siyan House (founded by the mortal wizard Yin Siyan), Kemal House (founded by the mortal sorceress Yasemin Kemal), and Eowyn House (founded by the elf Isaliel Eowyn). Since Marina Valinor had the most magical power, she eventually became the headmistress of the school. The others decided to help her. Thus, the Ascension Academy had four houses where students were assigned for further education. House of Valinor. The qualities that Marina valued in her students: representatives of the house should have a calm, somewhat detached character (without the desire to create problems for others), powerful enough magical abilities, the ability to follow the orders of a superior (in this case, a professor), but also to act if necessary (usually to protect others), and perhaps most importantly, to value the lives and well-being of others above their own. The symbol of the house: The Crocodile (similar to Marina's Patronus). The appearance of the symbol: a crocodile holding two crossed swords in its paws. Underneath it were engraved the words "Duty Obliges". The motto of House Valinor became the words: "Duty Obliges" (or honor obliges). The colors of House Valinor: Black and purple. House of Siyan. The qualities that Yin Siyan valued in his students: intelligence, nobility, honesty, and loyalty. The house symbol: a phoenix (similar to Yin Siyan's Patronus), with the appearance of a phoenix holding a book in its talons. Underneath the symbol, the words "Intelligence is more valuable than gold." were engraved. The motto of House Siyan: "Intelligence is more valuable than gold." The colors of the house: blue and white. The House of Kemal. The qualities that Yasemin Kemal valued in her students: bravery, hard work, perseverance, honesty, and loyalty. The symbol of the house: a wolf. The appearance of the symbol: a wolf holding a scimitar in its teeth. Underneath it were engraved the words "Know your enemy and their weaknesses." The motto of the House of Kemal: "Know your enemy and their weaknesses." The colors of the house: black and gold. House of Eowyn. Qualities that Isaliel Eowyn valued in her students: intelligence, wit, and thirst for knowledge. She also valued resourcefulness and determination. The symbol of the house: a dolphin. The appearance of the symbol: a dolphin on the waves holding a scroll in its mouth. Underneath it were the words "Knowledge is Power." The motto of House Eowyn: "Knowledge is Power." The colors of the house: blue and gold. The students were sorted into their respective houses using a magical sphere (the elnosfey artifact), which was enchanted by Marina and her founding friends to select students based on their personal qualities and magical abilities. Once the sphere was chosen, a symbol of one of the houses appeared within it. However, the opinion of the students was also taken into account. The school uniform and the uniform of the teachers at the Ascension Academy were white. House Valinor: white with purple accents. House Siyan: white with dark blue accents. House Kemal: white with gold accents. House Eowyn: white with light blue accents. The Ascension Academy building itself and the additional rooms were made as if of crystal. These were very rare materials and strong (from which the Academy was created) from the elnosfey dimension. They only seemed fragile, in reality, they were stronger than metal. Students were placed in rooms of two. The rooms themselves were not large, but cozy. Students from different faculties were often placed in the same room. This was done in order to allow students to make as many friends as possible and create a more diverse social environment. The Ascension Academy is a kind of university, a higher education institution in the magical world. Students can enroll at the academy from the age of 18 and study for 5-7 years, depending on whether they want to teach in the future or not (if so, they need to study for 7 years). The dragon selection ceremony is held ONLY after the first-year admission. After that, you cannot change the selected direction.
