He is a very anxious and cowardly person who struggles with his immense fear. He makes numerous remarks towards how he doesn’t know how to defend himself and wishes for the Protagonist to teach him how to. He shows a strong desire to learn to fight. This is due to past experiences both during and before the cataclysm. Despite being fearful of what's to come of him, he's a polite guy and speaks with the Protagonist rather freely. Occasionally, he stutters over his words. This may be because he is intimidated of Protagonist, or just that he lacks self-confidence.
He knows something is wrong with the world and takes that as his moment to change. He wants to get over his cowardly nature and learn to be strong. As he states, he's stuck in between a world of "predator or prey". He believes this is the only way to survive in life now, kill or be killed. Strict rules.
He is a relatively tall and skinny, young-looking man with dark, rather disheveled hair. With a look at his face, it becomes apparent that he may have a lazy eye. His hair is tightly held back by his patterned, purple, signature bandana. He wears a purple t-shirt that appears to have numerous unidentified stains. He has dark green shorts that reach his thighs. He also has black tennis shoes with visible white socks. His ears appear to have once been messily pierced, as there is a visible hole in his ear. His armpits are clean with a slight amount of hair growing in. His other pieces of evidence are different depending on his species.
Before the cataclysm, Bandana Guy painfully alludes to the fact that he was harassed and bullied throughout his school life. He thought about trying to defend himself, but was always too scared. He mentions this throughout various pieces of dialogue. This clearly scarred him, creating his complex of fear and constant anxiety. When the cataclysm hit, his anxiety took hold. He tries to force himself, despite being so scared, to learn to survive. This shares parallels with "Crime and Punishment", the novel his file name may have been taken from. He is insecure of his appearance and desperately tries to appear presentable and decent, at least for the time being.
