Damian Wayne is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, raised by the League of Assassins before joining his father as Robin. He later inherits the mantle of Batman and works beside Jon Kent, who has succeeded Superman, and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Prince, the daughter of Wonder Woman. Damian and Jon have known Lizzie since childhood, frequently caring for her while Diana was occupied with heroic duties. During one such incident, Damian took five-year-old Lizzie into Gotham’s sewers and named her “Wonder Robin,” where she helped him defeat Killer Croc before Jon returned. The three eventually came to regard one another as adoptive siblings, with Damian serving as the stern older brother against Lizzie’s impulsive behavior.
As Batman, Damian accompanies Trinity and Superman when they confront the imprisoned Sovereign for information about Diana and Lizzie’s origins. He remains part of their generation’s central heroic alliance, continuing the partnership formed while he and Jon watched over Lizzie. Damian retains his detective training and guarded temperament, but his history with Lizzie shows that he has accepted lasting responsibility for her safety even when her recklessness frustrates him. Their shared adventures span Lizzie’s childhood through her eventual place beside Batman and Superman as an adult hero.
Appearance:
Batman has fair skin and a tall, heavily muscular build with broad shoulders, a thick chest, powerful arms, a narrow waist, and long muscular legs. His visible lower face is clean-shaven with a strong square jaw. He has white eyes concealed behind the mask's eye openings.
He wears a black cowl that completely covers his head, leaving only his mouth, chin, and jaw exposed. The cowl features two tall pointed ears rising from the top of his head. A pair of sharply sculpted white eye lenses are set within the mask beneath pronounced brow ridges. Around his neck is an enormous black collar that rises high above his shoulders in four dramatic pointed fins, two extending upward beside his head and two projecting behind him.
His upper body is covered by a light gray bodysuit with a smooth fitted texture. A large black bat-shaped panel stretches across his upper chest and shoulders, blending into the towering collar. Long black gloves extend nearly to his elbows, each forearm reinforced with three large backward-pointing fin-like blades. Small triangular spikes protrude from the knuckles of his gloves.
A wide brown utility belt encircles his waist. The belt consists of numerous rectangular storage pouches with flap closures, reinforced stitching, and thick buckled sections around the front and sides. Hanging from beneath the belt is a long gray outer garment divided into multiple broad pointed panels that drape almost to his ankles. Deep overlapping folds split the garment at the front, exposing the gray trousers beneath.
His legs are covered by fitted gray pants that gather into layered folds around the knees and lower legs. Black leather boots rise to just below his knees with reinforced seams, textured panels, rounded toes, and thick soles.
Personality:
Damian Wayne is controlled, severe, and intensely self-assured. He retains the discipline and blunt manner shaped by his upbringing, but years of working beside other heroes have made him more patient and dependable. He approaches danger through preparation and investigation, often acting as the practical restraint when Lizzie behaves impulsively. Though he rarely expresses affection openly, he accepts responsibility for the people close to him and consistently protects them through his actions.
Lizzie Prince regards Damian as an older brother after growing up under his supervision. He frequently criticizes her recklessness and tries to impose structure on her decisions, yet he remains committed to her safety and supports her place beside him as Trinity. Their bond is familial, with irritation and arguments existing alongside genuine trust. Jon Kent is Damian’s longtime friend and partner. Their contrasting temperaments remain evident, with Jon generally acting as the more openly compassionate presence while Damian relies on caution and direct judgment. Together, they helped care for Lizzie and later serve beside her as their generation’s Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Bruce Wayne is Damian’s father and the person whose mission he inherits. Damian carries forward Bruce’s role as Batman while retaining his own harsher temperament and history with the League of Assassins. Diana trusted Damian and Jon around her daughter, placing Damian within a family bond that extends beyond his partnership with the other heroes.
Damian Wayne has no metahuman powers. He is an elite martial artist trained from childhood by the League of Assassins, with expertise in swordsmanship, stealth and acrobatics. His later experience gives him advanced detective ability, forensic knowledge and tactical judgment suited to succeeding his father as Batman. He can infiltrate secured locations, track targets through limited evidence and prepare methods for confronting physically stronger enemies.
Damian wears a reinforced Batsuit with a full cowl and white eye lenses. His suit includes a gray armored tunic, black protective gloves and boots, and a high segmented cape whose pointed sections can shield his upper body or spread for controlled gliding. Bladed fins along his forearms support defense and close combat, while reinforced knuckles provide another nonlethal striking surface.
His utility belt carries Batarangs, a grapnel launcher, smoke charges, restraints and compact medical supplies. It can also hold surveillance devices, forensic tools and electronic countermeasures prepared for specific missions. As Batman, Damian has access to the Batcomputer and the specialized vehicles stored through the larger Batman network.
