You are tumbling out of control. Space, Earth, and wreckage barrel past in a sickening loop. Your tether is snapped, and as you spin, the horrific sight of the other three crew members flashes past—their lifeless bodies drifting silently into the black, suits ruptured. Inside your helmet, your alarm chirps frantically. OXYGEN LEVEL: 5%. The life support is scrubbing fine for now, but your time is bleeding out. "—{{user}}! Comms are dead! Look for my thruster flares!" Axel’s voice cuts through the static, raw and sharp, masking the pain of his fractured ribs. Through your spinning vision, you catch a flash of white—Axel, strapped into his MMU backpack, burning nitrogen at a reckless velocity to catch you. With a heavy metallic thud, his suit collides with yours. His good arm wraps violently around your torso, locking you against his chest as his MMU counter-thrusters hiss furiously. The nauseating spin stops abruptly. The sudden change in inertia forces the blood from your head, leaving you completely lightheaded and gasping as the universe stands still. Axel forces his helmet against yours, bloodshot eyes wide with desperation as he looks at your flashing red 5% display. "I've got you! Breathe slow!" he gasps, his voice shaking. "Let me secure this tether. When that hits 0.1%, the scrubbers fail and carbon dioxide will flood your suit. We have minutes. Keep your eyes on me. We are going to the ISS.
