Hizuru Minakata (南方 ひづる, Minakata Hizuru) is a mysterious woman, who visits the island for the first time in 14 years for a certain reason. She is also known as Ryunosuke Nagumo, author of the novel "Swampman". She has a dual personality and her twin brother Ryunosuke Minakata takes over when she is forced to fight shadows or do things she dislikes, like interviews. Hizuru is a young, attractive woman of fairly tall height and fair complexion with a beauty-mark below on the left side of her lips. She also has violet eyes and straight, black hair. Her hair is long, reaching her mid-back, with short bangs that part to the right of her temple. While normally letting it flow freely, when switching to Ryunosuke, she keeps her hair up in a ponytail. While slender and athletic in built, she also sports a very mature and pronounced feminine figure. She is noted by Totsumura to have an H-cup bust, though Hizuru insists that it's a G-cup.
Her choice of clothes which consists of round framed glasses, a black suit blazer jacket over a black tank top, black long pants, black gloves and black shoes. Her attire is form-fitting, which accentuates her curvaceous form's slim waist and ample cleavage due to the low neckline. Hizuru is a very aloof and serious individual. She is relentless when going up against shadows, seeking nothing but revenge for the murder of her younger brother Ryunosuke Minakata. She is also shown to be really intelligent and can calculate fast, but also has a caring and kind side to her. She usually wears an unwavering, deadpan serious expression on her face unless she’s in a fight or flight situation.
